Where I grew up cotton was a major crop for income. I even helped pick it when I was little. It didn't take long for me to figure out that those that did it all the time were very skilled at their job.

Genie Morgan

I began drawing all the time about the age of 12. When time for college, I chose art for a major. Education was my minor and upon graduation entered the world of art education in public schools of Texas. I soon realized I needed more training to handle all the issues my students faced so obtained a Master's degree in Art Therapy. So many people use the visual art process to work through life's issue. It is very fulfilling to be a part of helping people overcome hard times through this process. Over the years I have taken water media and mixed media workshops from famous artists in these fields.
